Kanban is a form of VSM and is simple to understand while also allowing for ease of change. Kanban directly translates to signboard from Japanese and allows us to better define, manage and improve services that deliver knowledge work which, in turn, helps us better visualize the work process, maximize efficiency and continuously improve. Kanban consists of a Kanban board and cards that contain information on all assignments given to your team.
